Roger Leslie, a member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe, dreamed of becoming a successful business manager of a multimillion dollar operation.

In 1993, Roger graduated with a BA Degree in Business Management and Marketing from Fort Lewis College (Durango, Colorado). He then became one of the youngest Casino General Manager trainees in Indian Country, at the age of 24. Six years later he was promoted to General Manager; ultimately achieving his dream of becoming a manager of a multimillion dollar operation. During his tenure, Roger gained valuable experience in casino operations, strategic planning, financial analysis, regulatory compliance, marketing strategies, employee relations and customer service. His steadfast leadership promoted the Hon-Dah Resort and Casino to be ranked #1 in the state of Arizona based on Business Competence, Vendor Relationships, Employee Satisfaction, Customer Service, Customer Satisfaction and Community Involvement. After 11 years as General Manager for the Hon-Dah Resort and Conference Center, Roger is currently the General Manager of the Mazatzal Hotel and Casino for the Tonto Apache Tribe in Payson, Arizona.

Roger is the owner and operator of Power SURGE Seminars since 2004. As an established noted professional speaker, his specialty is Personal Motivations for Success. He teaches the differences between cultures personality traits and habits. He enjoys teaching skills in Cultural Diversity and Sensitivity. Roger facilitates Team Building, Conflict Management, Leadership Skills and How to Become and Remain Employable, Maintaining the Integrity of Indian Gaming, Tribal Leadership and Native Youth Development. Roger travels to various venues speaking, motivating and training Native American Tribal Leaders, Tribal Programs, Tribal Businesses, Non-Profit Organizations, Colleges, High Schools and Youth Organizations.
