![]() ![]() Mitch Factor was born and raised in Oklahoma. At the tender age of six, he watched and vowed to entertain the world just like his idols Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin. Mitch, the youngest of ten, grew up poor but with a very loving and strong family. Mitch had the gift of humor at an early age and was able to make any situation humorous when given the chance. The days of living at home came to a close when Mitch was approached to participate as an extra and a stunt double for Wes Studi in the 20th Century Fox film, "Last of the Mohicans". This opened the door for a television miniseries, TNT's "Broken Chain". The time came for Mitch's humor to be unleashed on stage. When Mitch returned to Oklahoma, he began to work on his stand-up comedy. Mitch began his journey at "Bricktown's Comedy Warehouse" and "Jokers Comedy Club" in Oklahoma City. Mitch was approached again. This time to perform his comedy at a Native American boarding school in Eufala, Oklahoma. The next eight years would bring three titles to Mitch's comedy tours, "Mitch Factor Takin' It to the Edge" and the "Wake Me Up and Laugh tour". The third tour is titled, "Don't Get Me Started". Mitch reminds us that it is okay to laugh at the harsh realities of life. Mitch's comedy covers subjects such as family, work, children, Native American way of life and simply being human. Mitch has performed at schools, community events, reservations, facilities for troubled youth and various civic organizations. Mitch is also pursuing a career in education and is currently a Head Start teacher. Mitch Factor will take his comedy to the next level by performing at conferences and touring nationwide.
