Red Rhythm Band Red Rhythm Band - Native Blues

In 2002, after twelve years with the Oklahoma-based blues group Blues Nation, guitarist Dusty Miller and drummer Terry Tsotigh, co-founders and core musicians of Blues Nation, teamed up with bassist Dustin Miller and began to focus on their own style of music, crafting a new sound from timeless roots.

Dusty and Dustin are members of the Comanche tribe and are one of the most talented father and son partnerships in music today.
Terry, an accomplished native flute player, is a full-blood Kiowa whose solid and driving rhythm, combined with the Millers' acute guitar work, enhances the group's unique musical expression in what was fittingly coined from the beginning as "Red Rhythm".

In the fall of 2003, the trio furthered the groundwork for their music by bringing on vocalist Lacy Saunders. Lacy's extraordinary vocal talent completed the band's style and the music of the Red Rhythm Band was shaped into the driving sound it has become-an alluring, progressive fusion of rock and blues.

Their first album, "Gotta Have Your Love", was released in September 2004 under the R.H.O.M. (Red Hands On Music) Label owned and operated by Dusty and Dustin Miller. Composed of eleven original songs ranging from traditional and soul-spilling blues to harder, dynamic instrumentals, the album showcases the talent, hardwork and individual flavor that has gone into its creation. The album has been hailed as "reminiscent of Santana with ...Red Rhythm touches".

As Gotta Have Your Love continues to make itself heard, the band is presently working on their second of three albums, due in September 2005.
